As communities across the region continue to recover from the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, Averitt has announced a contribution to support relief efforts. In response to the needs of those affected, Averitt is donating $100,000 to Samaritan’s Purse through Averitt Cares for Kids, made possible through associate-driven contributions and a company match to the program. 

Averitt Honored for Supporting Associates 

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – In June, the Tennessee Workers’ Compensation Conference met to induct seven employers into the first ever REWARD Honor Roll. Averitt, a leader in freight transportation and supply chain management, has been honored as one of these seven employers. This recognition highlights Averitt’s commitment to supporting associates in their return to work after injury or illness. 

A deeply rooted aspect of Averitt culture is Promoting from Within, and it can be seen from one end of our network to the other. Amos Rogan welcomes Tim Saylor to the Winner's Circle Podcast to talk about Tim's career growth and experience with promoting for within during his career with Averitt. 

Ourassociates are the backbone of everything we do. During National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (NTDAW), we take the opportunity to recognize their contributions that go above and beyond. Across our service centers, we organized events to celebrate, honor, and say a heartfelt thank you to the men and women who keep us moving. 

Our team offers many programs, benefits, and opportunities to our associates to reward hard work, and to benefit associates and their families. One such program is Red Thinkin' Rewards, which rewards associates with Red Thinkin' Points for meeting goals, achieving safety standards, years of service, and in other instances where leadership rewards associates directly.
